Nicola will be taking up her post on August 22nd 2016

As a registered charity CISWO 2014 is managed by a Board of Trustees. Click on Governance "Trustees and Management" for more information.

It has a Head Office based at Whiston.

There are 6 Regional offices, 4 in England and 1 each in Wales and Scotland. Each office has a local Personal Welfare Services team, led by a Qualified Social Worker.

A team of Regional Managers supervise the delivery of these services and in addition provide support to the remaining miners ' welfare and mining communities.

Roughly based on the old nationalised Coalfield areas it seeks to provide local and accessible services to all those who worked in the mining industry and to their wives and widows.
